That's the thing. The teeth ARE to her liking. Her teeth are a large part of her identity but she feels ugly and afraid to show them; not because she hates them but because others hate them.
The question we need to ask ourselves if we were in her shoes. Why are we the ones who have to carry the burden and responsibility to "change" because we appear outwardly unpleasant or different? Why are the people who harm us and claw away at our dignity the ones who get a free pass?
It's food for thought, y'know?
