Depends, I use my desktop whenever possible but my UPS died the otherday and i dont trust running my baby (desktop aka pride n' joy) on the shitty power we have here, without a UPS. it randomy cuts out at least once a day.
So at the moment im on a crappy laptop, wich to top it off, i dropped last night. Excuase me while i sound pessamestic...

Perhaps, Only the power output that a generator provides is hardly ordeal for a computer. I'd give it 1 week before the computer was destroyed by the stray flux and engine noises been transfured into the power supply. unless the generator has a built in power regulator PVF but for that the price would be un-warrantable.
