What really makes this role reversal work, for me, is that you traded the expressions spot-on, right down to that dopey, floppy-tongued, golden retriever face on the pursuee, barely visible in the film.
(It goes by so fast you almost need to freeze-frame it to see his tongue hanging out like that. So, well done.)
