This is a redraw of a female Cryolophosaurus that I drew back in 2016. I just feel like drawing her again recently. And maybe over time, I'll redraw dinosaurs I've drawn over the years.

She was first discovered and named back in the 1990s, the first dinosaur to be discovered in Antarctica, and was the largest carnivore of her time.

Her name means "Frozen Crested Lizard."

She's known for the large crest on her head which is compared to Elvis Presley's pompadour. For that, the dinosaur is nicknamed "Elvisaurus".

The crest is probably used by males to attract females or to appear intimidating and scare off other creatures.
