It has come to my attention that I haven’t done one of these for my own beary self, so without any further ado, here are the characters that have inspired or currently inspire my fursona.

• Baloo - The Jungle Book
Both are fun, laid-back and content with the simpler things in life, but willing to put themselves in harm’s way to protect those they care about.

• Fozzie Bear - The Muppets
While Rykor is admittedly more introverted than Fozzie, he does share much of his sense of humor, as dark as it may be sometimes.

• Winnie the Pooh - Winnie the Pooh
As much as I wanna say that I’ve outgrown this franchise, I can’t deny that that there are striking similarities between Rykor and the silly old bear for which it was named. Just substitute the honey for pasta, potatoes and cake.

• Bulkhead - Transformers Animated
Both are gentle giants with a love for art, and a surprising amount of skill at some niche specialty.

• Walter “Radar” O’Reilly - M*A*S*H
A gentle soul, and a dutiful friend. Does that remind you of anyone you know? Also, there’s that whole thing with Radar’s exceptional hearing and seeming precognition that earned him his nickname, which I always kinda liked.

• Vigge the Cautious - The Elder Scolls IV: Oblivion
While a relatively insignificant character in the game he features in, there’s enough of a personality to Vigge that I feel fits my fursona perfectly, as both are extremely cautious, but in a way that comes off as them being overly modest.
