💌Time for a big post with explanations and an offer💌
I’ll split this post into two parts: the practical one and the more personal talk — and the personal talk will come second.
So — I’m leaving, heading to Norway as a refugee, and I REALLY need to earn just a bit more before I leave on the 5th.
That’s why I’m announcing a one-time special deal:
🌟Any artwork commissioned during this period will be animated for free🌟
Even a five-dollar sketch portrait will get some motion!
💛->Here’s the link to my price list:<-💛
You can send it via Paypal, Monobank, Alfa-Bank, Hipolink — I’ll be grateful for any little contribution.
And if you can’t chip in, even a repost could really help me out during this tough time ❤️
For any questions, my DMs are open: https://t.me/LostDanver, or lostdanver on Discord

Now for the personal part:
You probably remember my whole quest to get out of the country, and it looks like it’s finally happening — though not quite the way I pictured it.
I didn’t manage to raise ten thousand bucks, but I can now leave legally, since the borders were recently opened for guys under 22. So… the time has come.
Thankfully, I did manage to save up a bit thanks to that challenge. If I hadn’t raised the alarm back then, I’d be sitting here flat broke right now.
So thank you for the support, my dear ones — that spike in activity and commissions was a real turning point for me.
As you can imagine, that’s why there haven’t been many posts lately. I was quietly finishing commissions and trying to wrap things up, because I honestly don’t know when I’ll be back in the country again.
I went on a short trip to Kharkiv with my girlfriend — we had a couple of unforgettable days there. I fixed my teeth, my laptop, stocked up for the journey, got passports for the cats, dealt with family matters, and researched both the departure process and the place I’m headed to.
There was simply no way to focus on a career in the middle of all that.
I’m heading to Norway because, despite the harsh climate and very different mentality, it offers the most reliable conditions for refugees out of all the options I looked into.
I’ll be going through a refugee reception center first, then a dormitory, and eventually an appartements — paid for with the stipend from the intro program (a one-year integration course that basically counts as a temporary job with a salary).
I’m traveling with my younger brother and a childhood friend who agreed to join this adventure.
I’m basically taking responsibility for all of us, but trust me — this is the most sensible option.
I hope that once I get on my feet there, I’ll be able to help bring over the rest of my family and my girlfriend, and that by then they’ll be settled enough that I’ll be free to move forward.
Meanwhile, I’ll keep drawing.
No matter how much I plan and rethink things, art is still my only real career path right now — I’m just a kid without a formal education.
And I’m determined to keep climbing up.
What distracted me all this time?
Going on dates, hanging out by the lake, spending time with family…
There won’t be any of that where I’m going.
So we’ll see how it all turns out.
And yeah… it’s incredibly hard.
Separation is already tough enough, but leaving your family not just to live on their own but literally right next to the front line…
When the shelling is back to 2022 levels, when roads out of your city are being blocked by artillery, when there are fewer civilians and more armed men in military around every day…
It’s пиздец.
And I barely had any time to mentally prepare.
They opened the border — now it’s a marathon to get out before, God forbid, Volodya closes it again.
But I don’t really have a choice.
The fact that by September, despite my sky-high plans, a real opportunity to change my life for the better actually appeared… it means I can’t turn it down, no matter how much I might secretly wish I could.
So that’s the story in short.
Maybe I’ll revive my YouTube to talk about all this later, but for now — as I said, I’ll be grateful for any support you can give.
It truly means the world to me, my friends ❤️
