The sunlight beamed down on Haru as she ventured through her patch of the community allotment. Ever the avid gardener, she retained the skills she'd developed as the sole supporter of Cherryton's Gardening Club. Going so far as to branch out from her flower focus to begin growing vegetables as well. There was something about the peace in this one little patch of nature. No radios or phones to hear about the stories of the day, whether they be good or bad. No news anchor squawking her ear about the state of the world. It was just here and her flowery friends.

Except on this day, she wasn't alone. A weed had come to her slice of paradise. Planted by the careless actions of Pina, after he tossed away a growth ray that had been causing nothing but chaos all day. With no-one to inform her of the giants cropping up around town, Haru strode through the allotment, tools in hand. Her foot trod upon the ray for just a moment, but it was enough to give the overworked machine a jolt. And with it, a small blast of growth rays for good measure. The tell-tale sensation of pins and needles started in her foot as it spread up to her legs, and towards her stomach.

Haru paused atop the ray. Her shirt clung tighter to her body, pulling against her underarms. Her shorts creaked as the elastic began to stretch around her waist. And still that tingling spread to her fingers and up through her neck. It was stifling, almost impatient. Something tugged at the base of her base, willing her to do something...
