Several months into our PF2e Kingmaker campaign, and, to all our surprise Juni (Junko, or 'Shortcake' to most the party) is not only still alive, she's now earmarked as our kingdom's future queen.

The really silly bit of this, is that her conception as a character borrows from the story of Tamamo-no-Mae; a kitsune in Japanese story tradition who left a wake of terror and destruction across multiple countries and centuries by enthralling various leaders and nudging them towards terrible decisions that led to their own downfall.
As a Scoundrel Rogue the expectation was that she'd become the voice behind the throne... the idea that someone would just give her the throne is a rather hilarious turn of events xD
