Really, this has been mostly done for awhile, but I kept picking it up and tweaking things. I ended up discarding the original forest background and went for clean and simple.

There are flaws and oddities, but for my first time using the software I'm pretty darn happy! I was very bewildered when I realized I couldn't 'paint' like I usually do in art programs... I also didn't have any lineart for once and that was a new thing.
