🖖 I went to Vulcan, Alberta in August for Vulcon. I finally got a good photoshoot of my D'vana Tendi cosplay from Star Trek Lower decks.

Different uniform. Older Star Trek series uniforms were often one piece bodysuits with heavy wool suit fabric (Sort of emulating the era of 2001 space odyssey's ideas of space travel), Newer star trek shows have switched to two piece uniforms Knit fabrics with fleece backing. Once piece suits will always fit less flatteringly unless you have a very specific body type.
Since Lower decks cartoon doesn't have live examples to work from it was a bit easier to get a nice tailored fit without following the conventional rules of "this is how the show made them!"
