Just because I've uploaded all of the comics created by 
Furiarossa and Mimma documenting Sebastian and Cederic's escapades, doesn't mean I don't have more content from them to post! Although with that said, I think this might be the last one in my image folder that I have yet to upload, heh. In this one, we get to see August putting on a celebration for his Torracat friend Kiva's birthday (who belongs to 
RodonEndwell). It even features a special guest star appearance from my brother's Garchomp, Keith, otherwise known as just 'Chomp! You can identify him from the bracelet he wears around his left arm. Don't know how well he and Kiva know each other, but he's baked his best cake for the occasion!
This was actually an idea I've had to celebrate Rodon's own birthday since last year, but it never got done due to shaky circumstances concerning my finances. So it happened this year instead! It was sort of inspired by those images of dragons trying to blow out the candles on their own cakes, and accidentally breathing fire instead. And I thought... why not use the same principle for a fire-type? Much to the suffering of August, apparently. And Keith was something I suggested as a spur of the moment thing; he wasn't originally supposed to be there, but then I got the concept of him wearing a chef's hat and apron and found it too cute to not try and include it.
Furia and Mimma were very committed to this piece! They wanted to get it done in time for Rodin's birthday, and I reassured them that there was no rush. They were entirely responsible for the surprised Pikachu on Keith's apron, so I can't take any credit there :P
It's Kiva's birthday (or maybe it's her belated birthday), and August and Keith have prepared thoroughly by wrapping gifts for her and making sure everything is nice and spiffy. Keith has even decided to dabble in a bit of cake baking for the occasion which, as it turns out, is something he's surprisingly good at. August distracts Kiva while Keith retreats and returns with the cake; a delectable, tiered confection coated with pink frosting and decorated with several berries found throughout the Pokemon world. He beams with pride showing off his masterpiece!
August encourages Kiva to blow out the candles. She takes a deep breath, aaaand... oh no! In her excitement, she accidentally breathes fire instead of air! Flames lash out of her mouth before anyone can stop them, and a brightened Keith watches from the sidelines as the fire streams over the top of the cake... and right into August's face!
In the aftermath, August sits in stunned silence, not angry, but blinking in confusion and very blackened. Kiva sheepishly apologizes, and Keith laughs awkwardly... all the while, the ashes of what used to be candles smoulder on. Thank heavens the cake was unharmed! Might be slightly crispy now.
