There is great beauty, even in dark times.

Recently, I found out that one of my favourite Canadian animation studios, Nelvana, is basically going bankrupt and closing it's doors.
Even if you don't recognize their name, you absolutely will recognize something they worked on. From Care Bears and Magic School Bus to Tales from the Crypt Keeper and Babar, they did incredible work.
And a series I’ve always held a lifelong love for was their adaptation of the Redwall book series.

It’s such a damn shame to see such a great studio all but disappear. I just hope that, after this difficult winter, there will come a spring that blossoms with new studios and new art.
So keep your candles lit, there’s always hope in the future, eh!
