I know it's been a long while since a new chapter post, but due to a lot of stuff going on and losing my chapter progress hyping up a depressive state because of all that I've been slow to progress unfortunately. Someday I'll get back to it, as I don't want to leave the series hanging even if there's not a real active fanbase for it, I'd do it for the characters.
Sometime ago, Legends put out a trailer known as the "Case of the Sweet Scent"---and what was pretty neat about it was the fact it was like a first person horror thing...but with POKEMON! It reminded me of the haunted PokeMart back in Sun and Moon---which definitely was creepy---and this was more so in the buildup. Sure, it got naturally funny at the end when we get normal Pokemon vibes in and that's cool, but it was the whole thing of adding in a kinda legitimate scary/horror experience; something so in contrast to what Pokemon is normally seen, but handled well enough that it just works and is entertaining and interesting.
I was glad to see a Pokemon/Horror mixup more from the original source, and they did it pretty dang well. I guess that's kinda why I like it, as it's what I'm aiming with with my series---something odd from the norm, but actually working out.
Which is why I was inspired to commission the awesome
SpaceMechanicAzul for this piece. It was a bit on short notice, but I liked what came from it. I imagine how Purple and Sol would deal with the same kind of incident of the Sweet Scent case, and he ran with it and came out with this! And even made a little gif about it and, yeah, it made me chuckle which is good after so long. I decided to post it around October cause, well, Halloween and all, and wanted to share. Enjoy!
