Tired of the same craptastic Top Ramen? Why do they even bother lying to us with the pictures on the cover!? There's no shrimp in their... it's all different colored salts! So Through being cheap and always having some kind of leftovers, Rambo Soup was born. The best part about it is that it can be prepared pretty much any way you want it, but it's the characteristics of the dish that makes it Rambo Soup and I'll teach you how:
WHAT YER GONNA NEED TO MAKE IT RAMBO SOUP:
-1 water boiling pan
-1 strainer
-1 package of desired Top Ramen (I used beef)
-Tapatio
-2 tablespoons of Margarine or butter
-Parmesan cheese
-Mayo
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS SHOULD CONSIST OF WHATEVERS LEFTOVER IN YOUR FRIDGE:
(for this example)
-about a cup of hamburger
-KFC gravy
-preferred spices (I used Lawry's seasoned salt, garlic salt, and pepper)
PREPARATIONS:
-First boil some water in the pan of course, but while the water is boiling add a couple swigs of the tapatio. Once the water has started to boil throw in the noodle brick, but make sure not to put in the flavor packet yet. Boil for 3 minutes as the tapatio will absorb into the noodles.
-After 3 minutes drain the noodles, then place back into the pan turning the burner to low. Then add the butter, the flavor packet, and the optional ingredients. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
-Finally add a dollop of mayo and preferred amount of parasan cheese. Mix well and there ya go. And unlike Top Ramen itself, it will actually fill you up!
Remember to keep in mind that it's to be used with random leftovers, a few good ones I can suggest are:
-chicken and Alfredo sauce
-a can of chili
-taco meat and lettuce
-Fritos
-nacho cheese
