Woodpines town needs to be secured just as much as their borders. These guards are few and far between. If you manage to rise to this rank, you will not be commanding a squad of guards, but rather an entire towns guard force. There are usually 1-2 Commanders per town depending on the size and complexity. These souls can petition adventurers, bounty hunters, or lower ranked guardsman to carry out tasks or hunts. Should the occasion be desperate enough, these individuals can even increase the size of bounties/rewards on any given person or adventure... or carry out the mission themselves.
