Telus is a world located in a young solar system on the edge of the Wilgenhoff Nebula. After repelling a human mining megacorp's invasion a millenium ago, the planet has mostly healed and is now a colorful, recovered wasteland.

This didn't happen in a day, as Telus was enslaved and stripmined of its non-renewable resources. Old telusian culture, once driven by magic, was suppressed, with most parts of it being forgotten during this process.

The recovery took time, help from human dissidents that decided to stay, a vision of future, and wars over resources that made them decide fighting each other wouldn't get them anywhere.

And now, despite restoring most ecosystems and having covered gigantic stripmines with cities and vegetation, they still have work to do. The Wilgenhoff Nebula makes time go faster, and 1000 years inside it equal 35 years outside. Sol Mining Operations is still out there.
