Well...here's something challenging. What do you do with a character whom you don't have their original bio due to it being sealed away on a forum you aren't the admin of?
You basically take some core aspects of your original design, and you reboot the shit out of them. So, I don't remember her name? New one. Don't remember much of her origin? Reboot. Still, rather glad with how it came out. Here you go.
Name : Arden Laura Taylor
Alias : Sentinel, The Psionic Tank.
Age : 28 years old.
Hair Color : A light Pink color, wears a black wig when not heroing.
Eye Color : A Bright Pink color, wears brown contacts when not heroing.
Race : Ilridian / Mutant hybrid.
Nationality : American.
Skin Color : Somewhat tanned.
Height : 6' 9”
Weight : 1,500 lbs (Muscle mass and bone density)
Family ( and people she considers so ) : Warticawn (Ancestor), William (Father, deceased), Tress (Mother).
Occupation : Super heroine and an advice column writer.
Fighting Style : A rather violent hand to hand style that implements many attacks aiming to break limbs or injure them.
Build : Very much built yet feminine.
Personality : Arden is a very quiet individual, who's become a bit of a recluse after her powers had developed. Although she doesn’t mind talking to others, or having fun in social settings, she can for the most part be very sensitive in public when not heroing about her appearance, so much so she wears a black wig, and dark brown contacts and a wrap to keep her breasts slightly compacted. When heroing, she only seeks to defeat an enemy, and never goes much further than that for she's never been too big on completely destroying an organization. Many of her rogues gallery see her as an honorable sort who never really will push too hard unless shes pushed hard, and even so, she usually does enough to make a point. In the rare occasion she is angered, the wrath she releases is something of nightmares.
Likes : Writing, reading, nature, researching history, ensuring some order within her city, physical training, playing with children, mental training, going out for dinner, watching movies with a good plot, and camping.
Dislikes : Dealing with the Ilridian empire, people who choose to cross a certain line with their crimes, when the police slack off because they see her there, corruption in officials, Valeya, and extreme lack of sleep (as in not sleeping for maybe 5 days straight).
Powers : Immense Superhuman Strength, Rather versed in hand to hand combat, Superhuman durability and endurance, superhuman sense of smell, sight, and hearing, slightly enhanced healing factor, telekinesis, and the ability to use telekinetic energy to enhance her body, create weaponry she can wield or shields she can use.
Danger Level : Arden is a seasoned warrior of justice, who doesn’t afraid of nothing. Her physical prowess is only matched by her calm demeanor, and her telekinetic abilities. She is considered a SSS rank fighter due to her decent use of the martial arts, with N/A Class 3.5 rank for physical endurance and focus due to her physiology and the impressive muscle density her body has due to its mass. Her mental abilities are considered as N/A Class 4 rank for her strong mental fortitude, intelligence, and telekinetic powers, and her physical strength is considered N/A Class 4 rank in for having a high level of physical strength from training, and her unique physiology. Her spiritual energy cant be properly measured, so will not be taken into account. Taking these into account, Sentinel's overall danger rank is at N/A Class 3.95.
Many, many years ago, a lone warrior from the Ilridian empire, by the name of Warticawn had decided that he was to make his mark amongst his fellow soldiers, by proving he was great as a conqueror as any other major leader in their society. The Ilridians had a unique way of staking their claim on a planet before taking it over. With their warriors, they would send them out to mate and immerse themselves within the intended culture they were to subjugate. The man had been successful in many of his conquests, but he always felt it paled in comparison to some of his own colleagues feats. Deciding he was tired of small conquests, and he planned a major one. With that, he left Ilria, and made his way to Earth with the intention of taking it over. Landing in Virginia during the 1640's. Pretending to be an aristocrat that he promptly murdered after landing on planet, he quickly blended in with the population. Marrying a widow of a sea captain, he felt if anything it would be buisness as usual, bang, get kids, kill and commence colonization. But the woman's sincerity and kindness had found its way through the man's hardened heart, and she managed to through her kindness, got him to decide not to go through the colonization process, but rather just live as her husband.
The alien man was rather strong, and ended up having many children with the woman, but in an act of what he felt was true love, he took his own life shortly after her death. Although he could have lived for so much longer, he felt he could not live without her. The one thing that escaped his mind, was that his ship was set up to send a signal to the main fleet if his ship were to sense he was no longer living. With his death, the signal went out, probably never to be found... Centuries and decades went by, as his bloodline became diluted over time, eventually winding down to the man who was his most recent, and actually last descendant, a man by the name of William Taylor who resided in Greenill, Maryland, a rather robust city that was soundly technologically advanced.
William was a very productive member of the community, always trying to help out his fellow man, or those far less fortunate than him. It was that kindness that had caught the eye of Tress Walker, the woman he eventually married, and had one child with, Arden Laura. Arden never understood her father's kindness, nor his wish to help others rather than himself, but every time she asked Will why he did what he did, he would always reply, “It is what I would expect from others, if anything were to happen to me.” No matter how many times the young child asked, he replied the same, and every time she asked Tress, Tress just simply pointed her back into William's direction. No matter how much she tried to understand it, she couldn't see showing people who had looked down on her dad so badly, the same kindness he showed them. But as he wished, she did her best to be on her best behavior, no matter how frustrating it got.
Her mother's genealogy had in the past, rare occurrences of people gaining mutant abilities, Tress herself had latent abilities, that never really had a chance to surface. But after Arden's 9th birthday, her own finally awoken. Telekinesis. While playing with a friend, they had stolen something she held dear, and she wasn't fast enough to get it. She was hoping and wishing hard for them to be brought back towards her, but she accidentally pulled them towards her with such force it almost snapped her friends spine from whiplash. Not understanding just what she had just done, and in total fear of herself, the girl freaked out when taken to the office, and she had released a burst of power devastating the office, causing her to run off into the nearby woods. She didn't want to look back, the fear so clear on her face... she stumbled over a log and fell into a nearby ditch, being knocked unconscious when her head hit the rock on the bottom.
Things were blurry... all a rush, and she could only feel excruciating pain...for a moment. When her eyes opened, she had found herself in a chamber, in a completely white room. Standing out of the chamber she was in, was a rather in shape woman, with bright red hair, and piercing pink eyes. She wore something that looked like a military officers outfit, although the top part was unbuttoned, revealing her rather robust bust. Noticing she had the child's eyes upon her, she deduced the child was if anything coherent at the moment, and she introduced herself, as Valeya. Valeya was a Prime Gatekeeper, meaning she was the strongest of the Gatekeepers, the progeny's that were left behind on planets to take over them. She looked at Arden with a hellish distaste and had explained the truth about her fathers ancestor. Since she was the only one of Warticawn's descendants that could be found, she was chosen to be tested for her gatekeeper potential. What had thrown Valeya off, was the fact that despite being so watered down in bloodline, she had incredible potential if said genetic traits were awakened. Valeya felt if anything, Arden wouldn't be a threat down the line, so she went ahead and unlocked her genetic restraints on her Ilridian blood traits, and put her back to sleep, only leaving the words, “We will ensure you do your job 10 Earth Years from now.”
Arden re-awoke in her bed, confused, and afraid, thinking what had happened in school was just a bad dream. Arden learned the following morning, it wasn't fiction. It was 2 weeks after she had broken her friends neck, and destroyed a good 1/4th of the school. Her parents had declared her missing until she was found in front of their door 2 nights ago. William and Tress were obviously shaken, but glad she was once again in their care. She was to have seldom classes outside of her home, primarily being taught while at home until she could get her telekinetic powers in some shape of control. Over the years, Arden dedicated time to learning about her powers, while trying to help around the house. From the house, she slowly started to help to help others in the neighborhood, trying her best to ease the fears from some who knew of the incident. By the age of 15, she was so confident in her own control, Arden felt ready to return to public school, and had done so, hoping the transition would be easy. Although it was far from the case, consistently being called freak, and having things thrown at her simply made school a living hell. She had very few friends, and to her luck, with minor sports she competed in while deciding she was rather passionate about her writing, high school went by quickly. But deep down inside, something still bothered her. Over the years, she was still haunted by what she felt was a dream...
Then, if almost on cue, her nightmares had come full circle. Returning home one day, after getting off from university, she had come to find the door to her house smashed down. Quickly running in, she had found Valeya, slightly larger, and clearly irritated, as she stood alone in her living room. The woman she thought didn't exist proved how real she was in an instant as her powerful fist found its way to her midsection, sending her into a nearby car, severely winding her and breaking few ribs. She could struggle to get up when she had heard Valeya mention something about awakening what shouldn't have slept for so long. Arden could barely move or breathe when she felt the woman's tight grip around her ankle as she dragged her down the street, the girl tried fighting back, hitting Valeya with as powerful as a telekinetic blast as she could, which was enough to free her from the grip. That one moment, she had never been more afraid in her life, but in that moment, she had never been more sure of anything in her life. She was compelled to stop her, no matter what. But the stronger, more seasoned warrior was barely shaken and had broken through much of the assault that Arden had put up. Annoyed, Valeya smashed her through an SUV, surely breaking most of the bones in her body.
The pain caused her to pass out, but as her eyes opened she was once again in the chamber that was in the dream. The white room, but instead, Valeya stood with her parents in chains in front of her feet, her body unable to move. Due not only to her injuries, but the chains that held her and kept her weighted down. The fear on her face apparent as Valeya just asked for Arden to break her shell. Arden didnt understand it, but she consistently asked for her and her parents own freedom. Valeya felt if anything, the girl needed a push. Resting her foot on her father's head, she screamed for Arden to awaken, Arden not even understanding tried to reason with the cold warrior. Valeya had enough...and with ease, stomped on the mans head before he could finish saying, “I love you.”, his skull smashed under her foot, as the stained flesh, brains, and bone could be seen from under her foot. As she slowly turned to Tress, and was about to do the same to her, something snapped. Her body all of a sudden felt reinvigorated... something like fire could be felt surging through her veins. Valeya and her still grieving mother stared at her in shock, as Arden's eyes, once brown flared to a pink color. Her hair changing shade, and unlike before, her bones could be heard popping as she was getting taller, and more muscular by the moment. The “shell” Valeya mentioned had finally been broken, but she didn't plan for what came next.
Like a hellacious dog from the depths of hell, Arden ripped herself free, and the next few moments were a blur. She had hit Valeya so hard, it not only dazed her, but it broke her jaw, and caused her purple blood to spill out of her face. The burning feeling started to extend out even more, as without her knowledge, she created a bladed mace made from her telekinetic energy as she smashed it through Valeya's chest. Pulling it out, still in her rage, she had taken her mother, and smashed her way out of the chamber... then through subsequent ones..coming out of the final wall that revealed she was in a rather forested area, with a ship that looked incredibly aged. It was indeed Warticawn's ship that she was placed in so long ago. Only thinking of keeping her mother and her own self safe, she pushed herself, to leap, and subsequently fly back to their home city. Her mother was worried...afraid...for and of her daughter. But despite all she felt, she had never been so proud of her before... but she knew with her gifts she could now never go back to the life she once had. Arden realized that also.
She attended college primarily through web based classes, spending as much time as possible learning the extent of her own powers and skills. All the while, Arden training her newly powered body and mind to its extremities, deciding she would not let her father's teachings just go out of the window. She would do as he said... look out for the community that may fear her. But when she couldn’t think of a name to go by...she simply opened a Thesaurus and decided to look up something that was similar to what she was called by Valeya. Deciding it fit, she chose the name Sentinel, and worked on an outfit, while also trying to think of a way she could continue her social life, at least to a point. Taking a wig and contacts that matched her former hair and eye color, while also using her telekinesis to keep her bust slightly compressed everytime she was dressed up, it helped her disguise, only going on the fact she had a “Major Growth Spurt.” Over the years, she had estabilished herself as easily one of the strongest heroes that the Earth had on its side. Arden knew, Valeya was bound to come back... despite all the battles she had gotten, she awaited the one who first threw her down that path. She would properly thank her for her new gifts... and stop the same empire that wished her death in one fell swoop.
