When contemplating what to draw for my dad, we couldn't find the right image. Everything had been done before: The big buff fireman with the axe, or the emotional one of them saving a life. We wanted personal meaning, because not all firefighters strength is measured by the weights they lift.

This was a scene from one of the stories from my dad's firefighting days. He and his buddy got ditched in the middle of a wildland fire with no water. Their lives were saved when a tanker happened by and made a drop right on top of them.
