The book cover for Rule of Three is ready! Courtesy of returning artist and Bug expert Malvear, this lovely digital painting features the three titular characters. We have Poppy the fiery little Jarilan Worker carrying her pack and admiring a stray flitterfly on the left, Cal toting his favorite rifle in the middle, and Murzka the mysterious Araxie huntress lurking on the right. We also have Kevin! One like = one treat!
I really like how this piece came out. I asked for a detailed jungle background and Malvear delivered in spades, and he excelled at both the Jarilan with her waxy shell and iridescent antennae, and the Araxie with her silky fur, neither of which are easy prospects.
