In the world of Likaresia, the rule is that each male wolf has its own Miriad. A Miriads consists of a male and five females of his choosing, with whom he has cubs. This arrangement stems from the fact that in the world of Likaresia, the majority of the wolf population is female. Males are born very rarely, and each one is extremely valuable. The existence of a small number of males is the only guarantee of the species' survival, which is why each tribe in Likaresia protects its males as its greatest treasure. Because of this, the wolves in Likaresia have developed a special survival mechanism. Namely, each tribe contains the previously mentioned ,,Miriads".

When a male pup is born, it is raised by the entire tribe with special care. When a male wolf reaches maturity, he chooses five unrelated females to form his ,,Miriad." The Miriad consists of one female, known as the ,,Verteni," and four other females. The ,,Verteni" female oversees the duties of the other females in the Miriad.

During the estrus period, female Miriad wolfs become pregnant with their male mates and give birth to pups three months later. A litter typically consists of two to three pups, and almost always all females are born. Males usually give birth every two or three years, and usually only one pup is male. Currently, males constitute about 3% of the entire wolf population in Likaresia.
