I did this a while back in March and I love this poster so much I had to post it here.
===The Idea===
This Poster was the result of my study and theory on Mortimer. Then my thought turn into and Idea for a concept
This concept was about Mortimer and Mickey. The plot is Mortimer waiting to be good and Mickey learning to give Mortimer a chance and learn trust.
I couldn’t help thinking of what if this concept get turn into a movie and no not a CG movie a traditional 2D animated one.
So then came this Poster art and I title it Mickey Mouse Movie,
===The Poster===
This poster only took two days the first day was draw Mickey and Mortimer, scanning them in the computer and making the logo font. The next day I just do the coloring light and shading then coloring the lines which is tricky to do in Manga Studios for the first time.
I was going to do more on this poster but I decided to leave it as it is since it’s just a concept of an idea. And the Title of the story has been changed to “Redemption”
Right now I’m doing the comic of this story. I’m only posting it on DA since they have the folder settings.

To bad, 2D animation is the only thing that can work for this concept.
I thought of this as a CG thing but as I was working on the comics I found that CG just dosn't work nor will it feel right as a desent medium for Mickey. However if it was a combo of the two then it could work if it's done correctly.

I think this movie would have soemwhat worked, depending on the quality of the story and the characterzations., and if it could make Mickey closer to how he was before the 1950s or so, when he was funnier.
I also would have supported the idea of producting the movie with classical paper-and-pencil hand drawn animation, regardless of Hollywood's aggressive greed-based promotion of all-CGI movies these days. Hand-drawing animation is very awesome.

I think you did a comic over at DevArt which is "Redemption" tho not by that title.
In it, Mortimer addresses the sceptical audience in the House of Mouse. Cameos of just about every character, good, bad and flat-out EVIL are there. He asks to be accepted as reformed and trying to help people now. Mickey is chewing his fingernails, fearing that there will be a RIOT !
