The Spider pauses for a moment, giving an inquisitive scan over the Moth standing before him, Quil giving a curious stare right back at the spider, the anthropods giving each other a glance at their respective distinct features. Leo had not seen that many Moths like Quil's species around before, but it was far from anything he would ever take issue with, and if anything, it was building an urgent desire within him to learn more about this new buggy friend.
"Not seen many Hawkmoths or Nymphs around these parts! Though admittedly I have seen a few Cicadas here and there in my lifetime, but I digress! A bug is a bug, and it's always a pleasure to meet more in. Give me a bump!" He raises his upper right arm and holds it out, gesturing clearly to Quil of what to do. They pull their upper left arm, the size of the two arms being quite a contrast with Quil's being smaller and skinnier of the two, the two enthusiastic, curious bugs give a gentle BUMP with their two arms.(ORIGINALLY DONE ON THE 19TH OF FEBRUARY OF 2025)
This was a little special gift piece done by the fantastically amazing Buggy artist that is QuilBug (Goes by They/Them!) over on Bluesky as a special thing they were doing at the time, where they opened up to offering to do their sona with other folks' buggy related sonas for free. The crazy part was that they got well over 100 during the occasion, and yet, they were practically non-stop in going all out with them, and managing to create unique little pieces associated with every bugfur they did a doodle of, and somehow, never showing signs of burnout. I legit was worried about them being hit by burnout, and even brought it up while still being enthusiastic of supporting their work, and they told me that they were able to go strong while taking occasional breaks, and with what I have seen them do, their effort and work really show how they're so passionate about what they do, and I really do commend the work they do. uUwUu
If you get the chance, YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY CHECK THEM AND THEIR BLUESKY WHEN YOU GET THE CHANCE! ----> Quilbug's Bluesky!
As for the piece itself, as you can expect, I absolutely adore this piece so much, the inclusion of Pedipalps (The little fuzzy arms around the Chelchirae (The mouth parts.).) are not something I had thought about, and honestly, I have no complaints about them being there because they are very cute. Also, I should have known, big arm Leo would have been perfect for forearm bumping. XX3

Thank yooou!! They are definitely not as common of a species to see as a sona, but slowly more people are getting interested, and I want to hopefully encourage more folks to get into them. There is so much variety of Spider (And anthropod in general for that matter!) you can make a sona of. Makes things all the more interesting. ^^w^^
