The Rexseia triplets - Stand Together Complex Pt5
You can probably guess how the rest of the weekend went, so let's just skip ahead to the end of the trial.
Where we see... Aw, bless! They hate every minute of their debilitated state, so much so that they're not even bothering to resist the psychological pull any more!
Aahh... I'm a terrible person for doing this to them.

I actually appreciate this comic for hitting at an idea that I've toyed with for quite some time when it comes to conjoinment (especially lifelong conjoinment): that the conjoined bodymates in question not only like being conjoined together, but would find it completely natural, wouldn't really have that compulsion for individual privacy, and may even find being part of a collective whole comforting and empowering. I've never gone for a framing as...negatively charged as psychological dependence (not trying to torture my characters here you monster XD;) but there's something to be said about the idea that being physically joined to someone your whole life - coming to know them intuitively and vice versa, influencing them and being influenced back - that in ways you'd practically join together in mind and in soul. Give them a collective identity for them to operate as a singular unit with and that connection only intensifies further.
Overall very nicely done, and very fun to watch. Well, for us, not for them, obviously. XD

I did make a pony version of these three where they were functionally one person despite trying to maintain their senses of self. Suffice it to say, they seemed to be much happier than the normal version. lol
Speaking of, I always figured they're more or less in harmony like you said, but also greatly valued their own individuality. Hense them having different hobbies and settling disagreements by rolling a die.
I mean they do have a collective name, but none of them really like being called that. Like they used to instinctually speak in unison as kids like their moms did when they were little. And so "Rexseia" came from introducing themselves to people by saying their individual names at the same time. Of course they broke that habit not long after, but the damage was done.
