An age of decadence manifest.
After so long, I finally managed to snag a commission from one of my favorite artists,
MarshalArts ! I've always loved the way he thinks about and depicts formal style, so when he opened slots for the "Tailor Shop," I couldn't resist.
Check him out on Bluesky! (link)

Suits in the 1920s were in stylistic flux, with many 19th Century traditions dropping after the First World War. It was around this time that "suits" began to transform into versions that modern eyes would consider more familiar.
Shirt is a newer type, with a soft-attached collar. Ties were different back then as well, often being a little more "poofy" and flamboyant.
An older style waistcoat with lapels, still common in the 1920s.
Dark suit implies use for the city, as blues, greys, and blacks were usually reserved for city affairs, while earthy tones like tans, greens, and browns were typically for the rural countryside.
Flat, non-creased pants were actually much more common on formal wear until around the mid 1920s-1930s.
Cuffed trousers, which were coming into style around this time.
What we call "dress shoes" today actually have changed very little in design from the 1910s-1920s, with the only key difference being material and quality.
