Despite being able to live a normal life thanks to Sage and Solaris, even able to find love, being able to grow big anytime to defend his world takes a lot of energy out of Alexander sometimes, so naturally a big guy needs big amounts of food to fuel his big body... although there were times his big belly had say over how much he should eat, which unfortunately leaves the Pokemon sometimes immobile until his enhanced metabolism burns off enough weight so the Typhlosion could get back to work ^^'
