Back at AC 2011, I told  Wuffnpuff I'd make her a plushie of anything she wanted. She wanted her pony character, Star Splash. So there you go! XD

This was a fun little project. The pattern was one I hadn't used before and that was designed for much smaller toys. I think it turned out quite well and it was quick to make. For the hair, I tried the brushed yarn thing. Basically I tired clumps of yarn together and brushed the heck out of them with a pet brush until they were soft and more like hair. It came out quite well. A bit frizzy and somewhat wavy at the knot, but very soft feeling.

The eyes came out a little wonky (there wasn't much to be done about that), and the head has a tendency to tilt, but will for the most part stay where you put it. At least for a while.

Also, cutting those itty bitty stars for her cutie mark was quite possibly the most difficult thing I have ever done. Ever. XD

PS- it's technically not finished yet. I haven't sewn the cutie mark onto the other flank yet. :B That's all that's left to do, though!
