I'm the patron who suggested this and I can give more lore behind this image. This is Ethereal Epic Wubbox specifically, and they're the creator, owner, and manager of the My Singing Monsters in-universe internet. Called the World Wide Wub, or Wubnet. The idea here is that EEW is staying up because there are a bunch of viruses on the Wubnet that need to be removed.
Also, while both of these monsters are more masc than femme, in My Singing Monsters lore, the monsters don't experience gender identity like we humans do. So no internal experience of gender and no preferred pronouns. You can call them whatever you like. I've seen people calling EEW and BeMeebEth "she".
