Militia man: Ypur normal volunteer soldier given nothing more than a cheep stamp steel 9mm SMG, a vest of dubious quality and a few days of training.

Soldier: With the power of bioengineering and augmentation, it was possible to take a fully trained soldier and modify there body until they could perform superhuman feats. Often looking like a large body builder, these augmented soldiers were given thick armour plating and heavy weaponry that made them difficult adversaries. Unfortunately these augmentations often resulted in tremendous dietary and medical needs that strain thin supply lines.

Originally these prehistoric beast were simply fans, enthusiasts or researchers that congregated in the city of Hollander. These beast would roam the streets, educating people on these forgotten beast, perhaps delighting the imagination of children or becoming a physical symbol against fossil fuel and its drawing crisis.

When war broke out, these saurians were present for ground zero of the army as it sought to purge the region of dissent against the government. Through trial by fire, they proceeded to augment, improve and evolve into a line of swift human killing machines desperate to protect their home. Even if it meant becoming monsters.
