I have a steel bar that I've wanted to do something with for awhile
and thought I'd show it's simplicity, it's 3 foot steel bar (actually a
tie rod from an old car) that's an inch thick and weighs roughly
9 lbs. If I could hammer it out to even a 1/4 inch thick it become
slightly wider and longer, it would also be a heftier yet shorter
great sword (most never weigh more then 6 lbs though some do)
and I would be a happy man for finally getting it out of my head
and into my hands o3o

Some day I'll have the facilities and tools to make my own little
forge, it's a dream of mine to do that one day.
The most perfect part? the end of the bar actually looks
like a sword pommel and balances the bar, it's one of the
reasons that I wanted to use for a project so much
because it already had a rough weapon look to it o3o
