Enchantia Screenshots 008 Draconians characters
The Draconians are a faction focused on physical close-combat fighting, they can fly and possess various elemental magical breaths. The Draconians are entirely made up of European dragons, from different natural and magical elements, visible thanks to their body color and pattern. Their theme is Viking, their territory is the northern mountains, with dense dark forests and frequent snowfall. They are a more combative and mature faction, more suited for slightly older players, young adults. They don’t have an elaborate lore; they are the classic Vikings of modern media for kids, not necessarily historically accurate, often a bit romanticized.
There are no real soldiers in the faction; all the Draconians are trained to fight from childhood, they are all warriors. The dragon on the shield was also one of the first mascots before Enchantia and before Red Eye Corp. My first two official creations for the faction are the Blacksmith and the Stage.
The Blacksmith has an arm holding the animated hammer. The stage is a huge music box, the large central wheel is mounted on an animatronic arm, same for the smaller gear which in turn is inserted on a non-central side of the bigger wheel, and the two Draconians are mounted on the gear. The big wheel slowly rotates counterclockwise, while the gear with the two Draconians makes a small snap counterclockwise. With the addition of two hidden speakers, the result is a huge music box. I wanted to use them for a Dark Ride, but I scrapped it because of the object limit for a blueprint, which back then was around 3000 or 4000 objects... now it has increased to 8000 objects.
At the bottom of the photos are the faction's first special units. Sitting on the bench is a Draconian Sniper, with a Woodpark medieval precision rifle;
The Valkyries are high-level divine units, very strong melee fighters but expensive to recruit. They are based on the image of Valkyries according to modern media, especially their portrayal in opera music.
The Jotuns are giants, they resemble the Draconians but they are not true dragons, they don’t even have wings; they are considered monsters, neutral, and those serving the Draconians have been tamed like ferocious beasts. The Jotun are cavemen, stupid but strong, the melee equivalent of tanks, they use whatever they can get as a weapon. These two Jotun, one of fire and one of ice, are smaller types; there are Jotun as big as mountains.
Then there is that mage with the runes. I wanted to create a caster unit, but I don’t completely like the final result. I called him Rune Priest.
PS: I wanted to include myself (my DragonSona) among the characters for this faction, but given who I am and my personal character lore, I opted for the immediately following faction.
