It's been awhile, hasn't it?
As I mentioned in a journal awhile back, I stopped coming to FA after some repetitive security breaches made using the website more of a liability than anything. I've been on and lurking in something of a probationary period to see what sort of shenanigans would occur and thankfully things seem more stable now, so here I am.

I never stopped drawing in that time. In fact, I have a ton of doodles that I'd love to share, though not sure in what sort of format I'd like to do that in. In the meantime, I'm celebrating the acquisition of a Wacom Cintiq and thought I'd share a new self portrait and say "hello" with a reintroduction.

Hi, I'm Valden Valmont! A f'unktaur (or skunk, depending on how lazy the artist is), old school gamer, and IT professional. I'm a former (okay, still, sort of) Twitch streamer because I'm incredibly passionate about gaming and the...ech, "industry." I'll happily admit that returning to FA is probably driven by a bit of nostalgia. I missed having a relatively safe and sane place to share my attempts at art.
