Approximately the same as a .357 Magnum, or .45 ACP in a +P loading. For a hyoomon, no problem at all. For a 25-pound kobold under 3 feet tall, it'd be... an extreme handful (look up "Kentucky ballistics" on Youtube sometime to see some goofy-but-epic recoil shenanigans). Of course, we've all seen that kobolds are either cute AF or jacked AF, and this guy's the latter (well, maybe a little of the former). And he seems bigger than the standard 30-pound D&D kobold assuming the Colt is to scale (it was a big, I mean really big pistol), probably a 4-ish footer at about 70 pounds. There will be some serious muzzle flip, but the weight of the pistol itself helps a lot with recoil management. He can do it!

I initially considered a version where he'd rest the grip on his shoulder like a stock to account for the recoil but I was unsure if the barrel would get too hot to hold. Might actually draw that but I'd need to investigate more!
