Okay, so the inks are obviously sharper, almost too much so from a distance: thinner and hard to see far away... but much smoother and crisper up close (and with better chance for illustrating finer details).
Again, this is so folks who haven't studied my work can tell at a glance the difference between my sketch work and my ink work: my work is all digital, so the literal terms don't really apply (I'm not using ink or pencils, in other words) but it shows the difference between the rough first pass (actually second, I clean up all the extra lines and framework on my sketches before considering that step "complete") and the finer additional passes.
And of course, if you aren't interested in the nuances of the quality of my work, here's hoping you still like the subject matter: an average human arm convulsing as it is forced through a rapid sea dragon transformation.

Glad to hear it.:D
The favorites I get sort of say the same thing, much to my relief. No matter how many times I "succeed" in the past, I never quite get over the feeling I could be flubbing up this time. Am I humble, or do I have self-confidence issues? I'll let you be the judge;)
