“Master…Are you almost ready? Lucky says that Pearl is going to be here soon.” said Maneki walking into Sly’s room brushing her hair. “Almost Kitty. Just putting the final touches on Pearl’s gift.” said Sly writing in his notebook at his desk, a framed picture next to him. “What’s this?” asked the feline picking up the frame only to gasp at the picture inside it. The picture was of Pearl in a bunnygirl outfit sitting atop a big plush bunny. “Shocking that Pearl would ever wear something like that huh? Let me tell you a story Kitty.” said Sly as memories of that day played through his mind.

“Come on Sakura I said I was sorry.” said Pearl walking with her siblings through the mall. “You’ve invoked Sakura’s grudge. She’s not going to let this go for a while.” said Sly walking with his hands behind his head behind them. “Shut up Sly. Come on little sis. I’m sorry I embarrassed you in front of that guy. I didn’t know you thought he was cute. Come on. How can I make it up to you?” asked Pearl seriously. “You can do that.” said Sakura seriously, pointing at the booth they were passing. A man selling costumes was asking for volunteers to model his newest costume. Pearls eyes shrank at the sight of the costume. “Oh come on Sakura you can’t be serious right?” asked Pearl jokingly, only to receive serious eyes from her little sister. The three-tailed vixen bowed her head defeated and kept it down as she walked over to the man.

Moments later Pearl sat in her new outfit, blushing embarrassed and not believing she was actually going through with it. “Looking good Pearl!” said Sly tauntingly. “S-Shut up Sly!” she replied, her blush darkening. Her gaze turned to Sakura and the smile there almost melted her heart. “This is all for you kiddo.” she thought as she waved to the crowd shyly.

“To this day this is still the girliest thing Pearl’s ever worn.” said Sly finishing the story. “Does Pearl know you have this?” asked Maneki curiously. “Nope. And she won’t, until about two hours from now when the party really gets going.” said Sly as the pages in his notebook began to glow, the picture changing to one of Pearl in her normal tomboyish dress. “This’ll be set near the cake, and should change about the time we cut it.” he said, chuckling mischievously. “You’re mean Master.” said Maneki having a stifle a chuckle herself. “You like me that way don’t you Kitty? Just be sure to duck when it changes. She’s going to try to kill me for this.” said Sly as he turned with Maneki to go to the living room, where the party was being set up.
