The victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Lance Gazer found himself shrunken down and help captive to be studied. Eventually he manged to figure how to control his size and broke out, then forced the scientists to work for him. Left jaded and bitter from the experience, Lance wants to make a name for himself as a major villain in the city where he was locked up. Taking the name Skyscraper, his success has been very limited compared to other supervillains.
