This is a collab piece for 3 friends of a game we all played. Final Fantasy Brave Exvious, a Mobile Gacha based game that I got into 4 years ago thanks to Shiro, my other friends
 nightwolf1 and
gilga. and while I understand the sentiment of "Its a Live Service Gacha, what do you expect" and yea. but 8 years of the game and the joy the stories truly brought me, these original characters and moments that I was surprised to see to the gameplay overall, and while its easy to just say its a show case of all FF characters fan fiction in a game I guess, the truly original characters and stories and deep richness it had kept me gripping. Sure I was excited to just get some FF6, 8 and 9 people. but I cant deny when they made some original people. it was GOOD.
While I never got to finish the Story entirely (I finished Season 3 and barely touched season 4) it made me so happy what they did, the music the environment the dungeon crawling, and the boss work. Did it had powercreep issues? Yea. Did it have its gacha situation from that. Also Yea. It was not easy for most people to start today I wont lie. But I truly loved what it had from my experience in those 4 years.
So this was a deep collab with friends for all of the time and heart it gave me and the friends who helped me and talked about it through those years, and while I wasnt there day 1, It doesnt changed where I was when I started and my friends along the way. I Miss it dearly since it EoS'd in Oct of 2024, with JP Servers getting hit This Year and Month. I hope and wishful thinking they will do something with it in the future.. somewhere.. something. to see Rain, Lasswell, Fina, Nichols, Lid, Jake, and there adventures again.
From Left to Right:
nightwolf1: Lord of the Seas Nichol, Brave Shift ver.
Gilga: Flames of Rebirth Jake
Taya: Infernal Fire Rain, LB Form.
Shiro: Mystical Ice Lasswell, Brave Shift.
