Original Species: Shangrila Vicebeak (remake)
The Shangrila Vicebeak is a large beaked lizard native to the densest forests of Shangrila. The Vicebeak was able to reach its impressive size due to one specific reason: the dense jungles it is native to are inaccessible to larger wyverns. Unthreatened by predators or competition and with access to a variety of nutritious fruits and nuts, this beaked lizard became the primary herbivore of its environment.
The Vicebeak received its name due to its primary food source: nuts. Specifically, the Holo'ho Nut, which is a large, thick-shelled tropical nut that requires a large amount of force to break open. To take advantage of this food source, the Vicebeak had developed a bite force comparable to that of Earth's Saltwater Crocodile.
Its size and armored skin provide ample protection against the smaller predators living in the same environment, allowing it to contentedly spend its life slowly trudging through the jungle in search of food and mates.
If left unbothered, the Shangrila Vicebeak is a docile herbivore that chooses to ignore most creatures entering its field of view. It may show signs of aggression if someone directly threatens it or attempts to steal its food. In both cases, that might result in a devastating bite or tail-slam (both of which have bone-breaking potential).
tl;dr: Leave the chill lizard in peace. Your bones are forfeit if you don't!
