OJ, or "Tenta" as they like to go by occasionally, was once a human that lived a fairly simple life that forever changed when they inexplicably heard the calling of a mysterious voice. They followed it into a secluded cave and spotted a mysterious plant. What happened afterwards, they seemingly recall only blacking out. All they remember after that is waking up with slimy green skin, tentacles in place of their hands, hair, and a giant tentacled tail, and a single massive eye. They were also physically incapable of communicating normally in this form and learned that they could only speak and eat if they "morphed" their face into a big mouth with sharp teeth. Whatever happened that day, they found themselves with some new unique abilities, albeit nothing too spectacular. They're able to morph their body like Bel but they can't go too crazy with their morphing and they're basically immortal in a way. They can remove the tentacles on their body and they can spawn another Tenta from that tentacle and regrow the tentacle that they removed, kinda like a starfish. And the Tenta clones work off a shared hivemind so they're all basically the same person, perfect for their weird obsession with getting digested. As long as there's a tentacle left behind somewhere, there will always be an OJ. Recently, Eddie and I learned that they also have the ability to hypnotize people but they don't seem to know how to do it on command. Maybe they'll figure it out...someday.
According to Fillia, our local fertility Goddess, OJ got caught in a trance by a peculiar plant species that she used to grow back when she was still around. She claims that she wished that she could've stopped it but couldn't due to the fact that she didn't have a physical form until recently when she started possessing the body of one of her followers. Supposedly, this plant lures in unsuspecting prey and sedates them as it morphs their body into the ideal breeding bed for more plants like it. This process takes time and it almost certainly kills the prey but OJ was miraculously saved by a fight that broke out near the area involving Daisey that destroyed the plant by complete chance. Maybe that's why OJ's obsessed with Daisey in a way...
