As some of you know, I am a big musical guy and "Little Shop of Horrors" is hands down one of my all time favourite ones. I still need to see the musical stage play but I can´t count how many times I´ve watched the 80s movie adaptation by the great Frank Oz. And how the created the effects for Audrey 2, the giant sentient Plant, still amazes me to this day.
But...I have to be honest: The first time I was actually aware of "Little Shop" was not because of the 80s movie nor the wonderful cheesy B Movie by the late great Roger Corman. No, it was the.....sigh...early 90s Cartoon Series. Yeah, this pretty dark and weird movie had a kid friendly Saturday Morning cartoon and it was....not that great XD
