Most humans in the Felar region live on an island, so having either a flying or surfing Pokemon is practically a must. That said, most humans are also either professional trainers who have their own flyer or surfer, or have otherwise planned and structured their lives around needing to fly or surf as little as possible.

So I've grown pretty well accustomed to humans booking me on the Ubirb app with more unique requests in mind. People would hate my life in video game form because that mostly means I do escort missions -- humans who want me to take them to the mainland and make sure they come back alive. Which is a lot harder now that all of the wild mainland Pokemon know what it means when they see that big-ass pelipper up in the sky. I also get asked to babysit a lot, now that it's become common knowledge that I'm at least one of the parental figures to three human children. And, yes, I get asked to do a lot of mouth-related stuff.

Today, my unique request was to help Bee get over her fear of heights. And no, the irony of someone named after an insect that can fly being afraid of heights is not lost on me.

I'm not sure if she overcame it quickly, still has it but is now at least comfortable being up high with me, or successfully faked it just so I would stop. But at any rate, the booking was for a 24-hour period, so it was pretty much guaranteed that she would get "complimentary lodging" too at one time or another.
