A mask in a slightly updated raven shape, with colors and design inspired by the red tupelo tree of Northern Florida. It has bark like alligator skin and leaved red as blood, but it yields a sweet, smooth honey that was my grandfather's favorite. Although I have a penchant for stronger blends, I still keep a jar of tupelo honey around the house and eat it when I'm feeling sentimental. I thought this mask was an excellent way of paying homage to the intimidating but sweet tree.
