The planetarium was silent except for the hum of machinery and the faint tick of a rotating dome. The student leaned into the telescope, chasing a violet shimmer that pulsed at the edge of a distant constellation. It should have been impossible—too bright, too alive—but curiosity has always been humanity's most dangerous potion.
The light hit him like a revelation. A burst of color, radiant and soundless, filled the dome. His breath caught as gravity itself seemed to loosen its grip. Muscles stretched, bones softened, and the rhythm of his heart synced with something vast and eternal. His human frame swelled beyond measure, skin rippling into cosmic hide streaked with nebular blues and galactic purples.
The walls of the observatory fell away. The floor dissolved beneath his feet, replaced by the slow drift of starlight. Planets turned like marbles below him, and comets whispered past, trailing their frozen songs. The student was gone—reborn as a leviathan of the heavens, his eyes twin galaxies, his voice the hum of dark matter itself.
He glides now through constellations that have no names, guardian of the endless sea above the world. Somewhere, deep in the hush between stars, a telescope still points upward, waiting for him to pass by again~
