Stepping to the Beat! (Huebird TF) by Windwalker14
It's Day 10 of Octransfur 2025, and the theme is Melody!
Walking through a grassy plain with my head in the clouds, I heard a familiar electronic-like song echo through the air... I began tapping my toes in time to the tune. It was so catchy that I ended up tapping my entire foot, and then... I started walking in time to the beat??
With my body seemingly moving under the command of the rhythm, I looked downward to see my legs had thinned out, becoming twiggy bird legs! Still involuntarily stepping forward, my face pulled outward to form a big yellow beak, as my arms began shrinking inward into tiny pink wings. To top it off, my head and torso condensed into each other, forming a compact pink oval of a body... And all the while during these changes, similar-looking birds had flown in to join my impulsive marching!
I had ended up turning into a pink Huebird of Happiness, reflexively stepping forth with my new flock of fellow Huebirds! I can't stop myself from following them, but at least I've got one phenomenal song to listen to while we walk toward Rhythm Heaven! Tweet, twe-twe-tweet, tweet, squawk!
