Years and years ago when I played Fallout 3 for the first time, I had a vague idea about The Enclave survivors salvaging the corpse of Frank Horrigan from the second game to serve as a new secret weapon. Sort of like a cross between President Eden and The Master, TO PROTECT AMERICA'S PRECIOUS BODILY FLUIDS!!

Yeah, I like adding a ton of superfluous cables to tech stuff, and it actually kind of fits the Falloutverse since their technology is so weirdly mismatched. They have cold fusion and functional laser weapons next to black and white TV's and vacuum tube computers.

Largely because the transistor was never invented in their timeline so as a result a lot of the technology became much bigger and bulkier, rather than smaller and more mobile like in our world.

Well it was, just WAY too late to do any good, like 2067 or something. By then, modern civilization was completely founded on the bulky, inefficient stuff and the apocalypse a decade away so... good effort guys, but no consolation prize.
