Eh, I dunno. When I first got a bike, I said to myself "you can have something with a V6 in when you next get a car, simply for putting up with this shit while you're poor" but after all the boring rides, all the breakdowns and expense, all the times I've got drenched and frozen, all the brushes with death I've had, the frustration, the annoying procedure of getting dressed in tough clothing every single time, the traffic jams where I can't sit back and be cool and listen to jazz, not being able to carry anything bigger than a box of chocolates, and just not being able to go as fast as I can in a car, I'm now telling myself "yeah, you can have a V12 BiTurbo Mercedes-Benz, you've earned that."

I agree, but I'm not sure if that's legal on newer bikes. The front mudguard hits already, when the shocks pack right down, so if I had one it'd get dented.

I've been seriously thinking of getting a bike license for a while...despite warnings that on the road,you have to look out for everything.

I've got allsorts I can't afford any more.

Also: do not get a bike.
