Random fact! I also greatly love this hamster so much that I begged and begged my parents to let me get a hamster. However my parents were very clear about how hamsters weren't anything like Hamtaro. Which I remember replying to them saying I knew that since Hamtaro was an animated show and such lol. It surprised them that I still wanted one anyways.
The lunch lady at our school was moving and had to re-home her hamsters. We got one that was named Beemer and he was cream and orange. We would call him Hambaby and Hambone though. If I can find any pictures of him, I'll have to share! We moved with the Hambaby though! All the way from Florida to Alaska. (We snuck him through Canada's boarders and on the ferry). He lived until he was 5 or 6 too! I loved that hamster so much.
