A side character within Yondard, Starter is a somewhat loud (despite having no mouth) and boisterous, but he considers himself something of a hero, naming off attacks and tolerating no injustice. He especially loves the adoration of kids and hope to be an inspiration.

His views were largely formed by his own experiences with humans, having came from New Kalun, a town formed in a hollowed out section of mountain where, to some degree, some Yondards and humans co-exist. This town, however, is to be kept a secret from all, but some Yondards find their way to New Kalun because of him. Even if the two races cannot fully co-mingle (Yondards are weak to light and sunlight can kill them, while the air that Yondards can breathe easily are toxic to humans, as well as the lack of light making navigation) he whole heartedly believes the two can work together, even if some humans and yondards aren't has hopeful.

Generally speaking, Starter travels, but will make his way back to New Kalun every so often to visit.
