I thought it would be cool if I had a fursona design exclusive to my Twitter alt.
This design has oddly-sized facial features, to convey the bizzareity of hyper art.
I chose a hyena because, um, someone on Twitter was illustrating their experience realizing they were asexual, and it stuck with me. They had a hyena for a sona, so I used that animal to represent my ace outlook here. This connection is somehow more tenuous than the reason my main sona is a rabbit.
Speaking of... the hyena is actually just a costume, and you can see said bunny sona's limbs sticking out of it. I remember conceiving this as a sneaky secret, but in the original tweet I wrote "literally my main ac's sona but in a suit." I never even linked to my main ac. why did i say that. my intended audience wouldn't be familiar with the original design.
Something funny abt this particular drawing... It's black on gray with spots of white. Additionally, there's a sketch layer that I left visible, tinted purple, and a second sketch layer that I set to Subtract blending so I could differentiate it from the first, which made the purples green. So... I accidentally gave this pic a thematically appropriate pride flag pallette. I know it wasn't on purpose because (1) i thought that was a giant cliché for pride-month-art* (2) the grayscale-plus-one-color ace and aro flags and their fusion are kinda ugly. Is that a hot take? Am I allowed to say that?
*oh, yeah, this was orig'ly posted in June '22. didn't mention it at the top cuz I forgot, but I guess this was a pride month post seeing how I hadn't mentioned the ace thing directly until then.
