SHARKWEEK: Pacific Sharpnose
Diving into the last couple days of Shark Week, this is the Pacific Sharpnose Shark! Again, this is for devlexuswolf's Shark Week Sketch Jam on DA, which means stop requesting sharks I do next please and thank you.
This was pretty easy to do, as the Sharpnose is a fairly average looking shark, just with a bit of an elongated rostrum. I think he turned out really cute though.
Little seems to be known about these sharks, but they are heavily fished. Looks like this guy's one who got away. Apparently, longline fishermen have reported significant declines, but the IUCN has not evaluated the shark's population.
