When you are in your room and feel the need to cover the window.
When you are in bed and don't dare to move as you know you're not alone.

The wind you feel without any windows open and when you could swear you felt something breathing on your neck.
That sudden chill you feel, even if it should be a warm summersday.
But when you turn around, when you check all rooms, when you try your best to catch or perceive me... you won't
Not even your pathetic flashlight will help you.

Unless I allow you to see me, you won't find me.

I am a furred dragon, I move light and fly silent.
An ambush predator, from whom you cannot hide, from whom you cannot run.
The shadows love me, embrace me and neither the wind would betray me.

My brand is already on your mind, you already bear my mark.
I could hypnotize you to give yourself to me willingly, but where would be the fun?
I could overwhelm you by strength, but there's no real challenge in that, is there?
I could give you riddles, testing your wit and letting you buy more time.
But the end is the same, there's no escape.

So better accept your fate right away...
And let me curl up in your lap while you pet me, while I take a nap.
